I joined The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) as a Physician in 1985. After an extensive internship under the stalwart in this great science, Arya Vaidyan (late) Dr. K.S. Variar, I  was posted to the Trivandrum ( Thiruvananthapuram ) branch of the Pharmacy in 1988. Later, I was elevated to the position of the Senior Medical Officer and continue to be at this position.

I am a  recipient of the prestigious VAGBHATA AWARD from the Government of Kerala in 2011.

This is in recognition of  my notable contribution to the promotion of the Ayurvedic System of medicine.
